In the IPL 2025,  Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) gear up for another exciting season. Both teams have made strategic changes, strengthening their squads to contend for the title. Let’s break down their strengths, weaknesses, and head-to-head record. 

RCB’s Strengths and Weaknesses

RCB boasts a powerful batting lineup led by Virat Kohli, Phil Salt, and Liam Livingstone. This trio provides stability and firepower at the top. Their batting lineup is equally formidable, with Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler, Sai Sudharsan, and Anuj Rawat forming a solid top order. The middle order is packed with power hitters like Glenn Phillips, Sherfane Rutherford, Rahul Tewatia, Mahipal Lomror, and Washington Sundar, offering multiple match-winning options.

Despite their strengths, GT has a few vulnerabilities. Their top three, though talented, may struggle to accelerate the scoring rate at times. The middle order lacks consistency, with players like Shahrukh Khan and Washington Sundar yet to prove themselves at the IPL level. Much will depend on Glenn Phillips and Sherfane Rutherford, both of whom remain untested in high-pressure situations.
